Happened to visit Fiat Caffe few hours ago to test drive the Tjet. I did notice something new with the Punto. The 15" alloys in the Punto now come in a light gun metal shade unlike the earlier silver finish. However, ironically, the few days old Punto 90 Sport comes with the silver finish. Attaching pics of the same. Power steering feels just fine when the car runs and fluid is ok. Grande Punto has electric power steering maybe you checked the fluid reservoir for something else. The warning light may be another symptom of a basic electrical fault (the motor not receiving the correct voltage/current). OP.
