All the windows and door locks etc work apart from the drivers sidei back door. So I dug out the good old Haynes manual and found the wiring diagrams for the door modules. Looks like LIN 1 is a Grey / Yellow cable, not a purple one, that must be for focus’ or others.
All sorted now Phil, thanks. If it helps other folks to know, the procedure I followed to reprogram the key that went faulty was as follows. I put the key/remote that was still working in the ignition, switched the ignition on/off 4 times in 3 seconds, then pressed a button on the good remote which apparently puts the system into learning mode.
The blower motor seems to be working normally as I can hear it and can vary its' speed using the control panel. It has the EATC control interface, part number AS7T18C612AB. I ran the on-board diagnostic procedure which threw back 4 faults: 9081 Circuit of left-hand temperature control flap actuator faulty.
The convers+ dash is all working normally, but the dials have stopped moving. So engine revs, speed, fuel level and engine temperature all no longer working. The car drives normally still. The needle of the dials are illuminated but they no longer move. I stalled the engine earlier and then noticed after restarting the engine that the dials

It depends on battery charge, electrical load and various temperatures. The system doesn't ever turn itself off using the switch. If there is a fault preventing the system working, a warning will show on the dash. If it's just not stopping because the parameters haven't been met, that isn't actually a fault.
As both the function of wiper and washer are separate and the control is separate, I wouldn't have thought that both would fail together other than the central control unit itself failing to operate these via software control. Try a disconnection of the battery to reset central control unit. LEDs, whats your Watts.

Especially the turn off/on of the display. Mostly paired with other issues like loosing navigation targets, home address, and such. The fan inside only runs when it is really hot inside. It's controlled by the unit with PWM and the temp sensor for it is on the mainboard near the power OpAmp at the back.
